I hold a Hospitality Career which spans a four-decade progression from Bell Captain at the Hyatt Regency Knoxville hotel, to managing hotels across the country for National Brands such as Hilton and IHG InterContinental Hotel Group.
Hospitality is a people-centered business and people are my passion. Before embarking on a hospitality career, I worked on a dairy farm where I developed a work ethic exemplifying hard work, dedication, and dependability.
I hold the prestigious Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation through the American Lodging Association and was recently selected as Holiday Inn’s “Best of the Best” General Manager for 2017.
I am married to Cheryl, my beautiful bride of 44 years, and we reside in Asheville, NC.
My philosophy is deeply rooted in my faith in Christ and His teachings. The essence of who we are must speak of service to others if we are to succeed in our industry.
My interaction with each person is built on the premise of “active listening”, recognizing the importance of understanding their respective need and matching that need with the perfect experience. Being in Real Estate gives me the opportunity to do what I do best and help each client reach their goals.
